Applicants from other provinces or countries who possess recognized equivalents of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma and/or academic or work experience, may be considered for admission.

Priority for Admission
The admission of an applicant into a program is the sole prerogative of the Office of the Registrar/Admissions Office and is done in writing specifying what conditions, if any, must be met before the commencement of classes.

Students will be accepted to colleges in the following order of preference as established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities:

1. Permanent residents of Ontario
2. Permanent residents from other Canadian provinces and territories
3. Other applicants

Mature Students
Individuals who are 19 years of age or older may apply as mature students. Academic testing and/or upgrading may be necessary in order to meet the admission requirements of post-secondary programs.

International Students
International students living in Canada must show proof of Grade 12 English (Ontario) equivalency. Students who do not have proof of English equivalency may take a pre-admission test in English at a local community college in their area.

International students who live outside Canada must pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) to be eligible for admission at the college. Minimum scores are listed below. Minimum scores required for TOEFL or IELTS follows:

• (TOEFL) with a score of 550 or higer
• 213-computer based
• 79-80 iBT and IELTS; 6.0 with no band lower then 5.0
