In May 1965, former Ontario Education Minister Bill Davis introduced legislation to establish colleges of applied arts and technology across the province. The legislation reflected a profound new approach to education that has energized, stimulated and transformed the local, provincial and national economies ever since.
This year, marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Northern College. Events and activities celebrating this milestone will be taking place throughout the year.
