February 18, 2009 - Northern College's 20th Annual Awareness Day: Focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders

Northern College’s Centre for Students with Disabilities will be hosting its 20th annual Awareness Day on February 25th at the Porcupine Campus.

The focus of the event is on increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders with a presentation by Sylvain Charron, autism consultant with Child and Family Services of Timmins.

The ever-popular wheelchair rally will once again be held, along with exhibits, information displays and guest speakers.
