Co-op Information for Employers

Hire a first or second year Heavy Duty Equipment Technician or Industrial Millwright apprentice for a 16-week co-op placement. The apprentice will come to you with a 1-year certificate or a 2-year diploma and some in-school apprenticeship training.

About First Year Co-op Students

These students have earned their Heavy Equipment Techniques or Mechanical Techniques – Industrial Millwright Certificate and completed the in-school theory portion of Level 1.

About Second Year Co-op Students

These students have earned their Motive Power Technician – Heavy Equipment or Mechanical Technician / Industrial Millwright Diploma and have completed the in-school theory portion of all three levels of the apprenticeship.
