Building For Our Future
Northern College Expansion Project
The development of a multi-faceted expansion of the Porcupine Campus of Northern College will embody a newly constructed Centre for Trades and Technology—Phase I; a Centre of Excellence in Health Education—Phase II; and an Integrated Centre of Excellence for Emergency Services—Phase III. More recently, September 2008, it was determined that Phase II and III would be combined as Phase II with separate funding applications. To learn more click here.

Northern College, through its Pandemic Planning Team, is closely monitoring developments related to the H1N1 virus.

Through information sharing and recommended infection control measures, the College is endeavoring to lessen the potential health impact of this and other flu viruses on our college community.

Staff, students and college visitors are encouraged to follow H1N1/Flu prevention diligently:

• Wash hands frequently
• Use hand sanitizer (dispensers are located throughout all campuses)
• Cough/Sneeze into sleeve
• Stay home if sick
