New Liskeard, ON: Employment Options Emploi is hosting the recruitment event of the year! The Explore Your Options Job & Training Fair will be held on Thursday, April 26th, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Horne Granite Curling Centre in New Liskeard, ON.
This free event is a one-stop shop for career seekers to network with employers and trainers, to gather information about the current labour market, job opportunities as well as options for training and development. Employers will be accepting applications and may conduct interviews onsite. Trainers will be there to provide information about programs and available funding.

The event is expected to attract over 500 career seekers and 40 exhibitors from a wide range of industries, including mining and exploration, manufacturing, construction, road maintenance, healthcare, and retail. Employment Options Emploi is running workshops every Thursday at 11am, from March 29th until April 19th, to help individuals prepare for the Fair. Topics like what to before/after/during the Fair, how to build a personal skills inventory, things to remember when talking to an employer, typical interview questions, resume preparation and printing, and more.
In support of mental health, CMHA will be providing food onsite with all proceeds going directly to their Northern Star Network.
