Piloxing – Northern College Timmins Campus

January 5th – April 6th, 2017

Time: Thursday evening 6pm – 7 pm
Cost: $145.00 for 14 classes or $13.00 per class

Our Pottery course includes stoneware, hand building and wheel work. Class projects and patterns will be included. Each student will be provided with clay and will have the use of communal supplies and tools.

March 2 – April 20
Cost: $220.00 (includes hst and materials)

Our yoga classes with Carrie Ann are open to everyone regardless of fitness level or yoga experience. Physical and mental benefits of yoga can include; Physical: Increases flexibility and muscle strength, improves respiration, maintains a balanced metabolism, weight reduction, cardio and circulatory health, improves athletic performance and could help protect from injuries.

Mental: Harmonizes the mind with the body, creating mental clarity and calmness. Could help with anxiety and depression, help in managing stress and can also be very effective in developing coping skills and reaching a more positive outlook on life.

Yoga etiquette: Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your yoga class to get a spot where you feel most comfortable. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle, yoga mat (the gym does have extra mats available) and any other props you may want (blanket, small pillow, strap, block etc…). The level of this class will be beginner to intermediate.
