Kirkland Lake Campus
Graduation Day: Thursday, May 23, 2019
Afternoon Ceremony: 1pm in the Charlewood Auditorium (Graduates arrive at 12:30pm. Seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Graduates need to fill out a graduation application and gown order form. This form is due by March 1, 2019. Forms are also available at Student Services. The form should be dropped off at Student Services or emailed to cummingt@northern.on.ca. Graduates from the Police Foundations program will wear their uniforms instead of graduation gowns, but still need to complete a form in order to attend graduation. Graduates can also vote for their ceremony Valedictorian by filling out the Valedictorian form.

Photography Information
Penny Fournel of Photohouse will be on site the morning of May 23, 2019 for students who wish to have portraits done. Space is limited. Appointments will be booked in 10-minute intervals and are available on a first come, first serve basis. For more information or to book an appointment, please email cummingt@northern.on.ca. Graduation Rehearsal
Rehearsal will take place on May 22, 2019 at 4:30 pm and will be 30-45 minutes. Graduates are to meet outside of the Charlewood Auditorium. Graduates who attend the rehearsal can pick up their gown, cap and V-stole afterwards in the Student Lounge. Signs will be posted with directions.

Day of Graduation
Graduates are to report to the Student Lounge to pick up their gown, cap and V-stole (unless done the night before). Immediately following this, graduates must report to the gym hallway no later then 12:45 pm for the graduation processional. A reception will follow the ceremony. Invitations/tickets are not required. Cake, light hors d’oeuvres, and non-alcoholic beverages are provided at no cost. The cash bar will be open. Diplomas will be distributed after the Graduation Ceremony, and after graduates have returned their gowns (graduates keep their cap as a souvenir). Graduates who are unable to attend the graduation ceremony will receive their diploma and portfolio in the mail approximately 2 weeks after graduation.

Graduation Day is May 24, 2019

Morning Ceremony – 9:30 am (Graduates arrive at 8:30 am)
Health Sciences, Community Services, Police Foundations, Pre-Service Firefighter and Paramedic/Paramedic Bridging.

Afternoon Ceremony – 1:30 pm (Graduates arrive at 12:30 pm)
Business, Office Administration, General Arts and Science, ACE, Technology and Trades.

Students are each given 4 tickets, for guests who would like to attend the ceremony. Graduates in the ceremony do not need tickets. When tickets are available for pick-up it will be announced on this page, through student email, and through Blackboard.

Required Forms
All graduates need to fill out a graduation application and gown order form. This form is due by March 22, if you want to attend graduation. Click here for the form! The form needs to be dropped off to Student Services or sent to Student Services at pcstudentservices@northern.on.ca.

Graduates from the Paramedic, Paramedic Bridging and Pre-Service Fire Fighter programs will wear their uniforms instead of graduation gowns, but still need to complete a form in order to attend graduation. Graduates can also vote for their ceremony Valedictorian by filling out this form. Completed forms can be dropped off at Student Services or sent to farrowa@northern.on.ca.

Photography Information
Graduates who wish to have photos done with a photographer of their choice, can rent a graduation gown for free by contacting farrowa@northern.on.ca.

The official photographer for this year’s graduates is Katelyn Malo of Katelyn Malo Photography. She will be on the Timmins campus in room A176 on March 29, and April 5. She will also be on campus the day of graduation, May 24, in room A140. Please contact the photographer ahead of time if you wish to book an appointment for one of these days, or if you have questions about her photo packages and pricing. Day of Graduation
Upon arrival, graduates are to report to their Coordinators or Faculty in the Quill Lounge after picking up their grad gown in room D116. A reception will follow the ceremony for all graduates and guests in the cafeteria. Four (4) invitations per graduate will be available in Student Services (tickets are not yet available) or can be mailed to you upon your request. Graduates will not require an invitation. Diplomas will be distributed after the Graduation Ceremony, upon returning your gown (graduates keep their cap as a souvenir).


Please note that you will not receive your diploma, certificate or transcripts if you have not paid your student fees in full at the time of graduation.
