TIMMINS, ON: Northern College recently partnered with Dailey’s Independent Grocer to host a Check-Out Donation initiative as part of the public launch of their Leaders of Tomorrow Entrance Scholarship Campaign. Customers were given the opportunity at check-out to participate in the campaign by purchasing donation cards between May 7th and May 21st, 2016.

They say it takes a community to graduate a student. It is evident that many community members did their part and purchased a donation card in support of future leaders. A total of $1,811 was raised during the two week period. Northern College is extremely grateful to all who contributed and to Dailey’s Independent Grocer for their support.

Nicole Gingras, Development Officer at Northern College, was on hand to gladly accept the cheque from Darlene Dailey, Owner of Dailey’s Independent Grocer and Laurie D’Alessandri, Front End Manager at Dailey’s Independent Grocer.
