“We pride ourselves on our ability to work directly with employers to create customized training options that meet their unique needs,” says Christine Heavens, Executive Director, Community, Business Development and Employment Services at Northern College. “By choosing to partner with us, employers are able to provide their workforce with the high-quality, accessible training that Northern College is known for, with content catered to the exact demands of their workplace. The programming we’re developing with Primero will have a much greater value for their employees than generic online training programs.”

Heavens was joined by Fred Gibbons, President of Northern College, and Chris Price, Safety & Training Superintendent at Primero Mining Corp., for the signing at the college’s Timmins Campus. Graham Reid, Health, Safety & Environment, & Security Manager at Primero Mining Corp. who has been involved with the partnership was unable to attend.
