Program Delivery Method - Academic Year 2020/2021

Welcome (and welcome back) to college!

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, Northern College has transitioned to online learning for all programs in the  Fall 2020 semester, except for certain courses within programs that have hands-on practical components that  will be delivered in the fall semester.

Northern College plans to revert back to face-to-face learning in the Winter 2021 semester so long as the  pandemic situation continues to improve and while following guidelines set forth by the provincial  government and local Public Health Units. Please study from home as much as possible. If you need to be on  campus, restrictions and protocols are in place to prevent the spread of the virus. Masks are required, sign-in  and sign-out processes are in place, and other hygiene protocols, including handwashing and not touching  one’s face, apply.
Online
All classes will be conducted virtually through Blackboard, unless otherwise specified.   Contact your Program Coordinator for further details if you have not already received   email communication about your online courses.
Hybrid
Online with some in-class components.
Face-to-Face
All classes will be conducted on-campus with health and safety measures enforced
