This program is designed to assist students who either lack the standard college prerequisites or who need to improve mathematical, technical, science or computer skills before entering a technical or trades program. This program includes a range of courses designed to help students explore career options in trades and technology, and to provide students with the skills necessary to enter a one year trades program or a two-year or three-year technician/technology program. For program information: Employment Opportunities Students may find employment in occupations requiring general education or with firms which provide their own training, but the majority are likely to continue their studies.
