Imagine being offered your choice of several jobs anywhere in the world. Imagine making great wages and enjoying an above-average lifestyle.

Today’s mining has a safety record that is above the average of all other industrial activities. Mining has evolved into a safe, efficient, and high-tech industry.

The industry employs highly skilled tradespersons, technicians, technologists, and engineers. Miners work with equipment that costs millions of dollars, including radio remote scoop trams and electric hydraulic drills. Extensive training is required to work with this equipment.

Metals and minerals are the raw materials for thousands of products used every day and society will always need mining and mining-related industries.
