Northern College has established a collaboration with Pures College of Technology in order to provide high-quality education and exemplary services to overseas students in Toronto. Students enrolled in Northern College programs at the Pures Toronto location receive full credit from Northern College, and are granted a Northern College diploma upon meeting their graduation requirements.
Students taking a Northern College program at Pures have the opportunity to acquire a high-quality education along with practical skills enhancement. At the same time, staff and faculty provide a warm and welcoming environment for international students, offering excellent student services to ensure that students have a great learning experience. By living in Toronto, international students are able to access significant employment opportunities and community support services.

We offer an ESL Program to international students who want to improve their English skills in order to complete a college diploma program. International students are eligible to enter the ESL program and have a conditional acceptance to an academic program. On arrival, students will need to successfully complete our English assessment test, which will determine their English competency level. International Students who successfully complete the ESL program will be enrolled in their diploma program of choice.
Business – Accounting
The Business – Accounting program gives students the skills needed to handle a variety of accounting situations. The Canadian Payroll Association and the Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping recognize these courses. Read full program description.

- Admission Requirements
• To be admitted into the post-secondary program, you must provide the following:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or it’s recognized equivalent
• Proof of English language proficiency
• Students whose first language is not English are expected to prove English proficiency by completing one of the following:
• Successfully complete our ESL Program
• IELTS: 6.0, no individual band under 5.5
• TOEFL: Paper Based: 550 and IBT: 79
• PTE: Academic Test 58+
