Melanie Verreault is an accomplished and educated professional with diverse managerial experience. She has excelled in management and special projects positions within the private and public sectors. Melanie is President of her own management consulting company. She has previously supervised various programs in community social services – working with youth and First Nations communities. Her background in social services has helped to develop her skills in group facilitation and management.

This presentation teaches you the skills to live a healthy balance between work and your life outside of work. You will learn how to manage your time better, focus on prioritizing tasks, setting accurate, relevant, and achievable goals, and communicate better at work and at home.

Guest Speaker – Lisa Wilson – LMW Consultation

Lisa Wilson has spent 20 years in Human Resources, working in a variety of industries; she refers to herself as a Human Resources Cultural Consultant and Leadership Vision coach. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, in Human Resources. Lisa is a Certified Human Resources Leader through the Human Resources Professionals Association and holds a Certificate in Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution. Throughout her career she discovered that people are the same no matter the industry. How and when you communicate will make all the difference in bringing the team together or having each member of the team all working in their own direction.

Over the last year we went from working together day to day in an office environment where we could have a quick chat with co-workers as we refilled our coffee, to a drastically different work experience. Some never seeing co-workers, some only seeing 1/2 the team. Leaving many of us asking questions like, “What does “work hours” even mean?” In this presentation we will discuss how to keep the team working together even if we can’t all be in the same room. You don’t have to be the Supervisor or Manager to affect your teams performance.
