This Haileybury School of Mines Guest Lecture was presented by Paul Tucker from Bantrel Co. Paul discussed the POX, POL and HPAL technologies for processing lateritic nickel-cobalt ore using an autoclave. He also discussed the lessons learned using the HPAL technology to process lateritic nickel-cobalt ore at the Anaconda, Bulong and Cawse Mines in Western Australia.

Treaties with Norm Wesley

In honour of Treaties Recognition Week, Northern College welcomed speaker and leader, Norm Wesley to speak about the significance of treaties, both in the past and today.
Norm Wesley is an accomplished and well-respected member of the Moose Cree First Nation. He is an active as a member of the community, serving in many capacities as a volunteer over the years. He is an educator at heart, an engaging teacher and facilitator, inspiring speaker and a compassionate listener and mentor.
