If you dream of living on the shores of a picturesque lake surrounded by miles of countryside in the heart of northern Ontario, you may just belong in Haileybury. The community – part of a collection of communities known as Temiskaming Shores, is located on the edge of beautiful Lake Temiskaming which stretches out over 100 kilometres!
The city is home to numerous museums, an art gallery, live theatre and multiple venues that feature live music. The downtown and Timiskaming Square offer great shopping. For outdoor enthusiasts, the city features two golf courses, campgrounds, horseback riding and both downhill and cross-country ski facilities. The South Temiskaming Active Travel Association and the government also maintain a series of walking trails that connect the communities that form the city.
The College will be extending the waiving of parking fees on all campuses for the winter semester for all students. This means you will not have to pay to park at any of our campuses through to the end of April 2021. There may be some changes to the permits and processes when the sale of parking permits starts again so please keep an eye out for those important updates.
Please keep in mind that you may still be ticketed if you park illegally (in a fire route, in an accessible parking spot without a valid permit, in a parking area designated for a specific group/person, etc.). These areas will continue to be monitored and tickets may be written for these parking infractions.
If you have any questions, please direct them to email@example.com and we will be happy to address them. Thank you.
